Linda Chapman

Linda Faye Chapman was born Oct. 31, 1956, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie (Teratha) Chapman in Bogalusa. She passed away peacefully at her residence on Feb. 18, 2018.

She leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Shun Chapman of Bogalusa; one grandson, DeJean Chapman of Hammond; two brothers, Willie Chapman of New Orleans, and Bobby Ratliff of Chicago, Ill.; one sister, Eva Chapman; a special friend, Cornelious Bonds; a devoted neighbor, Branett Magee, all of Bogalusa; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie (Teratha) Chapman; six sisters, Emma Ratliff, Marie Francis, Elizabeth Brown, Frances Chapman, Alice Chapman and Brenda Chapman; and five brothers, Howard Ratliff, James Ratliff, Sagger Chapman, Rolanda Chapman and Richard Chapman.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 26, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Kingdom of God Church.

Funeral service will also be Monday, Feb. 26, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Kendon Grant, pastor, officiating.
