Robert Magee

Robert B. Magee was born Oct. 14, 1948, to Mable Hall Magee and the late Odell Magee in Bogalusa. He departed this life on Feb. 8, 2018, at 69 years of age. He left this earthly life and transitioned to his period of eternal rest at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa.

Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 16, at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home, located at 809 E. Third St. in Bogalusa, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17, at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home.

Robert leaves to honor his memory: his mother, Mable Magee of Bogalusa; two sons, Bruce (Von) Magee and Terry Magee of Gulfport, Miss.; one daughter, Candid (Stephen) Otillio of Lacombe; two sisters, Joan (Ronald) Storke of Vicksburg, Miss., and Leshia (Steven) Hill of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Larry (Ellen) Magee of Bogalusa; one uncle, Sanders Daughn of Detroit, Mich.; close friend, Dorothy Lee Walker of Bogalusa; godmother, Marie Brock of Bogalusa; god-sister, Marilyn Brown Williams of Bogalusa; Mary Harris of New Orleans; 11 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Odell Magee; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Silas (Edna) Magee; and Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Nora) Hall.

Interment will be in the Bogalusa Cemetery.
