Basketball season is hitting its home stretch, as the playoffs draw closer and LHSAA teams attempt to either strengthen their playoff position or put themselves in a position to make the postseason.

For some of our teams, it is about continuing to win to build up the power points for a potential postseason bid, but also to put themselves in the best possible seeding spot for their district tournament.

In MAIS, Ben’s Ford Christian School’s district tournament is set for Feb. 6-10. The top four teams advance to the South State Tournament.

With just four teams in their district, Bowling Green School’s league does not have a district tournament, so those teams will head to the South State Tournament, which runs from Feb. 12-17.
