Carolyn T. Kennedy, 81, passed away on Jan. 19, 2018, at her residence in Angie. She was a member of Angie Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Benton Kennedy Jr. of Angie; one daughter, Cheryl Kennedy Watts of Angie; brothers, Dr. Edward Thornhill Jr. of Buena Vista, Ark., and John William Thornhill of Hammond; two grandchildren, Billy Watts Jr., and Christina Lott; and great-grandchildren, Mark Aaron Lott Jr., and Lucas Paul Lott.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Kennedy; and her parents, Edward and Minnie Thornhill.

Visitation was held in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Monday, Jan. 22, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation continued Tuesday, Jan. 23, from 8 a.m. until time for service in the chapel at 10 a.m. Burial was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Angie. The Rev. Larry Mizell officiated.
