Willie E. Magee, the son of the late Willie Lee Magee and the late Edna Mae Magee of Franklinton, passed peacefully at his home in Angie on Dec. 14, 2017.

Mr. Magee was a loving fiancé, godfather and friend to all those who knew him. He was a longtime employee of Joe Miles Lumber Co., as well as the Angie Saw Mill until its closing.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Dec. 21, at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m.

The funeral service will be held Friday, Dec. 22, at Hayes Creek Missionary Baptist Church of Franklinton, at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Lucious Williams officiating.

Interment will be in the Williams-Warren Family Cemetery in Franklinton.

Willie Magee leaves to cherish his memories: his fiancée, Molean Brook of Angie; his sister, Sherry (Carl) Lyles of Franklinton; a brother, Raymond (Jeanae) Magee of Ponchatoula; two step-brothers, Eddison (Isis) Simmons and Eugene (Covasha) Simmons, both of Franklinton; step-mother, Mildred Magee of Franklinton; two godchildren he raised as his own, Deaviance Brock of Lafayette and Torrianna Brock of Angie; a god-son, Kenneth (Beverly) Lewis of Little Rock, Ark.; a god-daughter, Demetrious Avery of Angie; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Willie was preceded in death by his mother and father, Willie Lee Magee and Edna M. Magee; a very special brother-in-law, M. L. Brock; and a god-daughter/niece, little Ms. Beyonca Brock.
