Basketball season began earlier this month and the season is picking up as we continue.

This week has a big slate of games running throughout the week and an opportunity to see the Washington Parish teams in action.

Four games are set for Monday with three more on Tuesday.

Franklinton is hosting a tournament beginning Wednesday and Mt. Hermon is competing in the Jewel Sumner tourney starting that same day.

Ben’s Ford Christian School and Bowling Green are hosting games on Thursday and Bowling Green’s girls are on the road to face Forest County on Friday.

It’s a great opportunity to support the local athletes and enjoy some good basketball as well.
