Tonight’s lineup of football games features five contests and half of the Washington Parish teams are playing in town. Every game begins at 7 p.m.

In LHSAA action, rivals Bogalusa and Franklinton are facing each other at Franklinton. Franklinton defeated Fontainebleau, 26-8, while Bogalusa lost to Chalmette, 51-20.

Pine and Varnado are taking to the road. The Raiders head to Pearl River and Varnado is going to St. Helena College and Career Academy. Varnado defeated Pine 44-14 after a 22-point fourth quarter broke open a close game.

All of the local LHSAA teams are 1-1 this season.

In MAIS contests, Bowling Green is hosting Oak Forest Academy and Ben’s Ford heads to Brookhaven Academy.

Bowling Green is 0-4 this season and suffered a 29-14 District 4AAA loss to Wayne Academy last week. Ben’s Ford is 2-2 after falling to Centreville Academy, 38-14.

It’s a great opportunity for fans to get out and continue to support the student-athletes.
