Durwood Crawford

Durwood “Woody” Crawford passed away on Aug. 30, 2017, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington.
He was born Dec. 27, 1953, in Tylertown, Miss. He was a graduate of Covington High School. Woody was a loyal employee of Washington-St. Tammany Electric for over 30 years as a field service representative, where he was loved by his co-workers and clients. He enjoyed serving God, spending time with his grandchildren and pets, and the outdoors.
He was survived by his daughter, Ashley (Jason) Manton; and stepdaughters, Sherri Verges and Julie (Chris) Dutruch; his wife of 25 years, Sue Crawford; grandchildren, Chloe, Blaze, Tyler (Desiree), Hunter; and great-grandson, Dominick; sister, Sharon (George) Crawford Stiles; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margie Vince Crawford and Edward Crawford Jr.; brother, Johnny Earl Crawford; and sister, Susan Crawford Barber.
A memorial service will be held at the Endtime Jesus Ministry Outreach Church, located at 1040 Ave. E, on Saturday, Sept. 16, at 2 p.m.
