On the morning of Sunday, June 18, at 6:20 a.m. at Lakeview Regional Medical Center, the Lord reached down and touched Billy Earl “Wine” Brumfield and said come on home.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his wife, Cheryl Miller Brumfield; two step daughters, Kentrel Miller and Keyanna Francis; four step grandchildren, Tyrus Jr., Kendarrius, Aniyah, and Ty’Laysia; one god-daughter, Simayra; two sisters, Beckadine Brumfield and Frankie Jean Brumfield; three brothers, Albert Leon (Tracy) Brumfield, Willis Lavon Brumfield and Earl K. (Betty) Brumfield; two sisters-in-law, Amy, and Nicole Miller; three brothers-in-law, Milton Carter, Charles (Beulah) Miller, and Hilton (Fadninna) Miller; one mother-in-law, Gladys Carter; two special friends, Shelia Brown and Gloria Varnado; a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert B and Rosie B. Brumfield; two sisters, Gienell Dyson and Jeanette Jackson; two brothers-in-law, Calvin Dyson and Charles Jackson; two brothers, Rayfus and Oscar Brumfield; one nephew, Jimmy Jackson; and one stepson, Kendrick Miller.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 30, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m., at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 1, at 11 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Plainview Church Cemetery.
