Charles Keith Cooper Sr., born on Oct. 25, 1960, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away on June 23, 2017, at Lakeview Regional Medical Center at the age of 56.

He is survived by one son, James Spencer (Ashley) Cooper of Lumberton, Miss.; his mother, Dell McNeese Cooper of Bogalusa; a sister, JoBeth Cooper of Bogalusa; a brother, John Kevin Cooper of Bogalusa; grandchildren, Tanner, Urijah and Annabelle; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Keith is preceded in death by his son, Charles Keith Cooper Jr.; and his father, Spencer Warren Cooper Jr.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 1, from noon until 2 p.m., at Superior Avenue Baptist Church where Keith was an active member. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Clay Norwood officiating.
