A local event takes place this weekend that allows you to compete while helping raise money for an organization at the same time.

Tomorrow morning, the 21st annual Milltown Classic takes place at Cassidy Park.

The 5K run/walk race helps raise money for the Rotary Club and it gets under way at 8 a.m.

You can check in prior to the event.

The fee for adults is $20 and children 12-under are $10.

Trophies are being awarded for each 10-year age group.

So take advantage of the chance to help the Rotary Club, while getting a competitive morning run in to begin your three-day weekend.
