It’s been good year athletically for local players in signing with colleges, as they look forward to playing at the next level.

Last month, Franklinton outfielder Jamarian Crain signed a letter of intent to attend Alabama Southern Community College and Bowling Green shortstop Shelby McDonald inked with Baton Rouge Community College.

This week, two more announced their intentions to play at the next level.

Franklinton shortstop/pitcher Collin Dominguez signed with Belhaven University and Bogalusa small forward Tramarcus Levi inked with Tohono O’odham Community College.

A few more local athletes signed earlier this school year and more could sign.

It shows how good athletics is in Washington Parish.

These athletes have skills that schools are looking for and their hard work and dedication have allowed them to perfect these skills.

Good luck to them in their collegiate careers.
