Franklinton High School’s track and field teams held a fundraiser that accomplished three goals, and it was successful.

The school held a color run/walk race Saturday. The 71 participants ran on a course that was about 2.2 miles. Throughout the race, there were areas where the runners/walkers were sprayed with different colors. At the end, participants had a final color toss celebration as they threw colors up in the air creating a great colorful mix.

The final celebration capped off a couple of hours where the key was fun, but also allowed the runners/walkers to enjoy some competition and help raise money at the same time.
