Glenn Adams

Glenn Dennis Adams, born on March 23, 1936, in Washington Parish, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017, at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, Ark., at the age of 81.

He was a veteran and served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the American Legion Post #24 in Bogalusa. He loved going to Ben’s Ford Baptist Church. He also loved listening to bluegrass music.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Frances Willene Crain Adams of Crossett, Ark.; his daughter, Sheila Davis of Bogalusa; his son, Nick Adams (April) of Crossett; two grandchildren, Jeremy Adam Grantham of Bogalusa and Brandon Allen Davis of Henleyfield, Miss.; a special friend, Huey Mizell; his dog, Buddy; and many family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, McCauley Adams and Leatta Bush Adams; his sister, Agnes Voth; and his brother, Carliss Adams.

Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Friday, April 21, from noon until 3 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Patrick Magee officiating. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens with military graveside services by the Magic City American Legion Post #24.
