Ouita F. Jourdan, born Dec. 7, 1933, went home to be with the Lord on April 8, 2017, at the age of 83. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church of Bush.

She leaves behind a son, Miles Simpson of Bush; and daughter, Sheila Aulbach of Sun; two sisters, Verna Lee Keaton of Bogalusa and Marjorie Gittenger of North Carolina; three grandchildren, Terrence Kent, Joshua Kent and Rita Aulbach; nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Hebron Baptist Church of Bush.
