Dear Editor:

Thank you for the generous coverage that The Daily News gave to the revival services sponsored this week by the Elizabeth Sutton Memorial and Bush United Methodist Churches.

There are those of us who believe that evangelism still has a place in America’s heart and soul, and that these reminders of our spiritual heritage may by our only hope for healing, or at least for lessening the runaway excesses of today’s society.

For everyone’s sake, we should keep trying. Thanks also to all of those of other faiths and denominations who joined in and supported us.
