Well done again, MCCA organizers

The Magic City Carnival Association once again showed Washington Parish residents and visitors a great time.
The annual parade rolled through the streets of Bogalusa for the 37th time on Saturday and it could not have gone better.
Mother nature cooperated and gave us an absolutely perfect day for anything that took place outside, the floats were amazing, the marching groups were great and crowds were huge.
It is one of the many reasons why Bogalusa so great.
Putting on a parade takes a lot of hard work by so many, whether it’s getting the floats put together, organizing the throws, the marching groups or so many other responsibilities, it’s a big task and the people of MCCA do a great job year-after-year. Tremendous thanks to MCCA Captain Don Spiers and everyone else who was involved in making the parade a huge success.
MCCA XXXVIII will roll on Feb. 10, 2018, which is just 342 days away.
