Plans are being made, spots are being marked off and there’s plenty of excitement in the air, as just one week from tomorrow, the Magic City Carnival Association rolls through Bogalusa.

It’s the 37th annual parade for MCCA, which puts on a great show each year for all of the parade goers.

One of the great aspects of Mardi Gras is that people of all ages can enjoy the festivities like the floats, the bands and the marching groups.

There’s something for everybody.

It’s also a chance for everyone to showcase how great of a city Bogalusa is.

Early indications are that it should be a great day to be outside with only a 10 percent chance of rain, a high of 77 and a low of 51, so it’s a perfect chance to get outside and have fun.
