Ronald “Ronnie” Dewitt Felts, aged 79, a lifelong resident of Bush, LA, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday Dec. 21, 2016. He is survived by his wife Sylvia Taylor, his daughters Veronica Felts Frechou and Sabrina Graham Galloway, son-in-law Terry Galloway Jr., two grandchildren Ashley Wanner and Tyler Graham and one great-grandson Jaxson Jenkins, three sisters, Shirlean Jenkins, Ellen Felts, and Jonell King and a brother-in-law Richard King and also many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased in death by his mother Emma Crawford Jenkins and father Dewitt Clinton Felts and also a stepfather, Authur Esco Jenkins, and a brother, Robert E. Jenkins.

Mr. Felts loved his family and friends and was an active member of the Bush United Methodist Church up until he was not able to attend. He served in the US Army and upon his discharge was employed at Kaiser Aluminum until his retirement. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to your favorite charity or to Bush United Methodist Church.

A Memorial service will be held Friday Dec. 30, 2016 at the Bush United Methodist Church, 81306 Highway 41, Bush, LA, 70431. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. and a service is at 12 noon. Following the service, there will be a fellowship to follow in the fellowship hall.
