Inell Pittman

Mrs. Inell McCoy Pittman was born on March 7, 1925, to Jesse and Violee McCoy and was called home to our Lord at 8:25 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016, at the age of 91.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 26, at Mt. Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, located at 06 Bethel Loop in Sandy Hook, Miss., from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at noon. The Rev. Jesse Bridges is pastor.

Interment will be in the Mt. Bethel Missionary Cemetery in Sandy Hook.

She leaves to cherish her glorious memory: three daughters, Helen Brooks of Dallas, Ga., Carolyn Martin of Angie, and Agnes Pittman of Milwaukee, Wis.; two sons, Homer Lee Pittman of Angie and Jerry Warren Pittman of Milwaukee; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Helen McCoy of Chicago, Ill., Annie Mae Jordon of Poplarville, Miss., and Gussie Washington of Chicago; two brothers, William Cary McCoy of Country Club, Ill., and Julius McCoy of Hazelcrest, Ill.; and two special sons-in-law, Sam Allen of Dallas and Charles Ray Martin of Angie.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse (Violee) McCoy; a son, Homer Pittman Jr.; and her husband, Mr. Homer Pittman.
