Next week, we celebrate Thanksgiving.

It’s a great week.

Thanksgiving feasts will be going on across the country, Christmas is right around the corner, teachers and students get time off to celebrate, the NFL season begins its stretch run and the high school playoffs enter the quarterfinal round.

Thanksgiving is also a time to give thanks for what you do have. It’s easy to lament the things you don’t have, but the main thing is what you do have. That and enjoying life are important.

Also, be sure to give thanks to those fighting for our freedom that allows us to have such a good holiday season.

However you spend your Thanksgiving holiday, please be safe on the road.
