One of the annual events in Washington Parish that people look forward to is the Free Fair and once again this year, it was successful.

The event had near record crowds at the event that offers something for everybody. Whether it’s the rodeo, the 5K, the parade, the rides, the entertainment or any of the multitudes of ways to have fun, the fair seems to capture that.

Along the way, people are creating great memories that will hopefully last a lifetime.

The fair is also another way to showcase how great Washington Parish is.

But without those working the fair and those organizing the many events associated with the fair, none of this is possible.

We thank all of those who put in the time and the effort to make this event possible year-after-year and we look forward to another great fair in 2017.
