Next week is a big week in Washington Parish. It’s fair week.

It’s a chance for families to get together and go enjoy the many things the Washington Parish Free Fair has to offer.

Some of the events include the parade, rides, a rodeo, a 5K and entertainment. Those are just some of the activities featured at the fair.

It’s a chance to create memories with families and friends and enjoy the great weather we’ve had.

It all gets underway Wednesday, Oct. 19, and runs until Saturday, Oct. 22.

The fair is also an opportunity for Washington Parish to show everyone how great of parish we live in.

So take time out of your schedule, go enjoy the fair and continue to support Washington Parish. And pick up a copy of tomorrow’s paper, which will include a 76-page section on everything you’ll need to know to have a good time at the fair.
