If you’re interested in playing basketball, the YMCA is putting a recreational league together.

Participants 18 years and older are eligible.

Playing the in the league gives the participants competition and basketball is a great way to exercise, especially with the amount of running that’s involved over a game. Also, by joining the league, you’d be helping the YMCA.

So it’s a win-win-win.

Right now, the league is set to take place on Tuesday nights.

Each team must have at least eight players and the cost is $40 per participant.

The registration deadline is Monday, Sept. 19 and the league begins Tuesday, Oct. 4.

Get out to the YMCA, showcase your skills and help the YMCA at the same time.
