McKenzie Ella Wright, 2, born on Nov. 4, 2013 in Birmingham, Ala., a resident of Bush, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016, at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital.

She is survived by her parents, McCurry Wright and Mindy Spencer of Bush; three brothers, Bradley Adkins, Hunter Adkins and Spencer Wright, all of Bush; her aunts, Misty Spencer of Covington, Tanya Ey of Conowingo, Md., and Caylee Roberts of Birmingham; her uncles, Christopher Glass of Covington, Ryan Roberts of Birmingham, and Johnny Ey of Conowingo; her cousins, August and Davey Glass of Covington, Hunter Christian of Birmingham, and Kevyn Knight of Conowingo; her maternal grandmother, Shelly Spencer of Bush; her paternal grandmother, Michelle Christian of Birmingham.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Richard Lee “Spence” Spencer Jr.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Sept. 10, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., at Palestine Baptist Church, located at 59369 Palestine Church Road in Bogalusa.

Funeral services will begin at 6 p.m., with the Rev. Fred Brumfield officiating.
