“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away” (Revelations 21:4).

The sweet angel of mercy moved in quietly on Sept. 1, 2016, and bore the spirit of De’Shonda Luuan Foster at her residence.

She leaves to honor her memory: her father, John Davis Foster Sr. and her mother Glenda Faye Sartin Speights, both of Bogalusa; children, De’Shontaire La’Jal Foster, Kelliyah De’Shonti Foster, Kalik DeShun Foster, all of Bogalusa; one brother, John D. Foster Jr. of Bogalusa; and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 9, at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m., with a family hour from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, Sept. 10, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Bogalusa at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Douglas Hart, pastor, officiating.

Interment will be in the Bogalusa Cemetery.
