This Sunday at 3 p.m., children will have the opportunity to show off their arm and leg strength, as the Punt, Pass and Kick competition is taking place at Franklinton High School’s football stadium.

Boys and girls ages 6-to-15 will throw, punt and place kick for an opportunity to advance to the sectionals at Fifth Ward Junior High School on Oct. 22.

Participants will be divided into different age groups and separated into boys and girls divisions. The scores from punting, passing and kicking will be totaled and the winners from each age group will advance to sectionals. Also, the winners will be introduced at halftime of Franklinton’s home game against Church Point on Sept. 30.

The competition is free and we wish all of the participants good luck.
