Adilee Rester

Adilee Creel Pierce Rester, 82, a resident of Franklinton, died early Sunday morning Aug. 14, 2016, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital.

She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church who enjoyed spending time relaxing on her front porch while watching the many birds and squirrels that ate from her feeders. Adilee also enjoyed talking to her friends on the phone.

She is survived by: son and daughter-in-law, Hulon and Bobbie Pierce of Colfax; three sisters, Marie Westley of Jefferson, Thelma Smith of Franklinton and Robeena Creel of Bogalusa; two brothers, J.L. Creel of Franklinton and Arthur “T.J.” Creel of Wiggins, Miss.; special friend, Len Henson of Pearl River; and also numerous step-children, step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Houston Pierce and Frank Rester; her parents, T.J. Creel and Rosa Mae Sharp Creel; a sister, Lucille Grace Ezell; and brother, Willie J. Creel.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home on Wednesday, Aug. 17, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Clay Spinks officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
