Services for James E. “Ziggy” Lynch will be 11 a.m. Friday at Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church; visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until time of service time. Interment will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Church Funeral Services.

Ziggy was born in Nashville, Tenn., on Jan. 13, 1993, and passed from this life on Aug. 9, 2016. He was a past resident of Bogalusa, a resident of Baton Rouge, and worked as a kitchen manager. He enjoyed working out and basketball and will always be remembered as a “Mama’s Boy.”

He is preceded in death by a grandfather, Freddie Blackwell.

Survivors include his mom and dad, Shara and Charles Blackwell; grandparents, Warren and Deborah Griggs, Mark and Debbie Jerrell; his siblings, Charles Jr and Charlie, Jessica and D. J., Cody, Megan and Chris, Jade and Joseph; and also a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
