Ora Warren

Sister Ora Dee Warren was born to the late Mary Bell Bickham and Flechter Bickham on Sept. 7, 1924. She departed this life on Monday, July 25, 2016, at Good Samaritans Nursing Home in Franklinton.

Sister Ora was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on July 8, 1989 and remained a faithful sister to her death.

She is survived by one daughter, Freddie Mae (Joe) Howard of Tylertown, Miss.; six granddaughters she reared as her own, Cynthia (Troy) Thomas, Marceail Cook, Deborah Lynute, Wanda Warren, Chythia Warren, all of Franklinton, and Etheldra Warren of Baton Rouge; four grandsons, King Cook, Rudolph Warren of Tylertown, Bobby Warren of Baton Rouge, and Fred Cook of Franklinton; one sister, Ada Brumfield of Franklinton; 16 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great grandchildren. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews other family and friends to cherish her precious memories.

Sister Ora Dee Warren was preceded in death by her husband, James Warren; a daughter, Mary Bell Warren; a son, Bobby Warren Sr.; her mother and father, two sisters, and four brothers.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 30, from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, located at 42590 Highway 16 in Franklinton. Visitation will be followed by the funeral service, beginning at 2 p.m. with Elder Richard Davis officiating.
