Mr. Danny Davis passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016, at his residence in Franklinton.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Katherine Davis of Franklinton; one daughter, Juanita (Woody) Watson; one brother, Rodney (Lenora) Davis of Franklinton; one daughter whom he raised as his own, Stephanie Maggitt of Sauk Village, Ill.; and one son whom he raised as his own, Michael Thomas of Franklinton; a special grandson, Woody Watson of Franklinton; two special granddaughters, Gwennikkia Davis of Franklinton; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Hynethia Davis; and one brother, Bernise Davis.

Mr. Davis’ visitation will be held Friday, July 15, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. John Temple Church of God In Christ in Franklinton. The funeral will follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Esco Burton, pastor, officiating. The interment will be held at Magee’s Cemetery.
