Mr. Donald Ray Dixon, 65, of Bogalusa, La., departed this life on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at his residence.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. with minister Keith D. Merrill officiating.

Interment in the Bogalusa Cemetery, and Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves to cherish his memories: His son, Shannon Pittman of Jackson, Mississippi; two sisters, Ollie Berry of Bogalusa and Grace Ellison of Jackson, Mississippi; four brothers, Jerry Dixon, Frank Weary, Pee Wee, Joe (Ruby) Ellison of Bogalusa; four aunts, Shirley Stewart, Bernice Mitchell, Ethel Elzy and Lillie Peterson of Jackson, Mississippi; one uncle, Wallie Peters of Jackson, Mississippi; a close friend, John Poster of Bogalusa, two nephews, David (Ashley) Berry and Dewon Berry of Bogalusa; one niece, Carrie (Alfred) Moses of Bogalusa and he was preceded in death by his mother, Carrie Cerry, his father, J.L. Dixon and his step-father, Frank Berry Sr.
