If you’re looking to get outside in the nice weather next week, there will be plenty of reasons to do so in Bogalusa.

On Tuesday, June 16, Bogalusa High School is holding its inaugural alumni golf tournament, to help benefit the football team, at the Bogalusa Country Club.

The $100 cost includes 18 holes of golf, cart fees, lunch and awards.

Just two days later, children take the field at the 14th annual Legends All-Pro Football Camp, which is at Lewis V. Murray Jr. Stadium, which is located on the campus of Bogalusa High School.

At the camp, participants will learn various skills about football and lessons about life.

The camp, which runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., is free.

On Saturday at the YMCA on Avenue B, the 10th annual Sports Works Academy Basketball Camp is going on from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. with registration starting at 8:30 a.m.

The cost is $20 and children ages 6-18 are eligible to participate.

The three activities are an opportunity for people of all ages to have fun and we hope the community can come together to participate.
