Dear Editor:

My name is Solomon Letcher and I am a student at Queen of Peace Catholic School in Mishawaka, Ind. I am writing to you as part of a class project. My class will be reading The Watsons go to Burmingham. As part of a pre-reading activity, my classmates and I have all sent out six letters to six different newspapers in a state of our choice. I chose Louisiana, and one of the newspapers I have chosen is yours.

I wrote this letter to ask your readers to please write me back. I would like them to tell me why they like Louisiana, interesting facts about the state, and also what visitors could do there.
