Excitement is in the air in Bogalusa.

In just two weeks and a day, the Magic City Carnival Association, the Krewe of MCCA will roll through the streets of Bogalusa.

It’s a great day to get out with friends, family and the community to enjoy a parade, relax and show those from out of town how great this city is.

This year’s theme is “And the Winner is…”

The parade takes place Saturday, Feb. 6, the day before the Super Bowl. It’s an exciting time for those who attend the parade and everybody who participates.

Plenty of work goes into making the parade a success from getting the floats ready, the bands, getting enough law enforcement and many other important factors. Many people play a part in making the event a great time every year.

So head on out to MCCA, enjoy the day and show people the pride we take in this city and we wish everyone in the parish a happy and safe Mardi Gras.
