Denise Bickham was born April 18, 1967 to Winzlo and Carnell Tate Sr. She was joined in holy matrimony to Curtis Bickham Sr. for 28 years. To this union four children were born, three girls and one boy. She joined Hayes Creek Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. She later became a dedicated member of the usher board until her heath failed her.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 28 years Curtis Bickham Sr.; four children, Keyonna (Andrew) Thompson of Tickfaw, Curtis (Shonese) Bickham Jr. of Thibodaux, and Tamira and Catrill Bickham of Franklinton; five grandchildren, Ayden Thompson, Jayce Bickham, Cor’Naysia Cox, Alaya Thompson and Curtis Blaise Bickham; her mother and father, Winzlo and Carnell Tate Sr. of Franklinton; two sisters, Edith (Kenneth) Warren and Kathy (Wallace) Walker, both of Franklinton; four brothers, Jimmy (Nettie) Tate, Alton Tate and Cedric (Jeanette) Tate, all of Franklinton, and Winzlo (Tiffany) Tate Jr. of Slidell; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 11, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Cook-Richmond Funeral Home, with the funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at Greater Hayes Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerome Warren officiating. Interment will follow in the Greater Hayes Cemetery.
