- COURTESY PHOTO On Tuesday, Dec. 1, the Franklinton High School students attended the Louisiana Renaissance Festival in Hammond. The students completed a scavenger hunt that led to the different booths and activities. While walking through the festival, students were able to observe glass blowing, jousting, falconry, listened to period music, juggling and sword fighting. Also, they participated in skits, discussions and shopping.
