Evelyn Davis Hargis Hoeffner, 88, passed away on Nov. 14, 2015, at her residence in Bush.

She is survived by one son, Lawrence (Leslie) C. Hargis of Metarie; one sister, Julia Margaret Davis of Slidell; one brother, Hugh L. Davis of Slidell; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Visitation was held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home, beginning Tuesday, Nov. 17, at 11 a.m., and will continue until service time of 1 p.m., with the Rev. Chad Jenkins officiating. Entombment followed in Ponemah Cemetery.
