Fair queen appreciates community support

I am humbled by this entire experience and blessed beyond measure for such a great opportunity. Being able to look out from the stage the night of the pageant and see all of the people supporting me was completely heartwarming.
I would like to send one of the greatest thank you’s to the Fair Association, Fair Queen Committee, Stage Committee and the people of Washington Parish. This outstanding group of people made sure that I was always included, well fed, gently guided and more than anything loved. The amount of hugs I received over the week, were innumerable. If ever I was unsure, they never hesitated to lend a helping hand with a warm smile on their faces.
They would take time out of their busy schedules to simply ask me how I was doing, and just that in itself made all of the difference to me. Everyone made me feel so welcomed after I was crowned and for that I could never thank you enough.
Their kind hearts have impacted me greatly and they truly encompass the “love thy neighbor” principle our parish was built on. This is the spirit of our parish and the reason I am so proud to be from Washington Parish.
God Bless,
Fallon Turner
