Franklinton High School recently announced its September PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Support) monthly winners.

Students were nominated by their teachers, who were looking for students that displayed “PRIDE — Personal Responsibility in Developing Excellence” on a daily basis on campus. A student from each grade (ninth-12th) was selected by the PBIS team.

The winners received a school concession stand pass, a sporting event pass, and a free dress pass. The prizes were provided by Franklinton High School’s PBIS team. The teacher and employee of the month are voted on by faculty and staff. They chose someone who has also demonstrated “PRIDE” and someone who has gone above and beyond in their work.

The Teacher and Employee of the Month received a casserole/baked treats and $25.

The PBIS students were MacKenzie Angelo (ninth grade), Pierson Whitten (10th grade), Meredith McCullough (11th grade) and Tavion Partman (12th grade). The teacher of the month was Brenda Miller, and the employee of the month was Terry Davis.
