Ethel Faye Davis passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2015. She was an active member of Main Street Baptist Church, and had previously been nominated for Bogalusa Citizen Of The Year.   

She is survived by one brother, Leonard Paul Davis of Kingsport, Tenn.; two nieces, Barbara Todd and Kathryn Todd Milton; and three nephews, Mike Todd, Byron Davis and Brent Davis.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Ellen Davis; and three sisters, Helen Parker, Jewel Wise and Edith Todd.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 8, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Patrick Magee officiating. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Tabari and his staff, Camelia Hospice and to the employees of Nielsen’s Pharmacy.
