Jean Nate’ Nichols 42, of Bogalusa, died Sunday morning at her mother’s residence in Angie.
Jean, better known as “Tay Tay” or “Big Punn,” is survived by her mother, Williester (Willie) Peters; two daughters, Jasmine Nichols and Devante’ Nichols; two sisters, Shawn (Bobby) Nichols Dillion and Selena Magee, both of Angie; one brother, Robert Orlando Nichols of Slidell; three grandchildren, Yasmine, Braylen and Dallan; four nephews and one niece, all of Angie; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousin, and friends.
Jean was preceded in death by her father, Robert Nichols Jr.; and grandfather, Robert Nichols Sr.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 21, at Cook Richmond Funeral Home from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a family hour to follow at 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. The funeral service will be Friday, May 22, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Varnado. The Rev·. Willie Peters will officiate, with interment following in Bogalusa Cemetery.
