Frank Montalbano, 93, resident of Bogalusa, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015, at the Louisiana Heart Hospital in Lacombe.

Frank was the owner of Berenson’s Sales in Bogalusa, a member of the Bogalusa Chamber of Commerce, the Washington Parish Economic Development Foundation, a member of Nellie Byers School, Magic City Carnival Association and the Krewe of Roogaroo, a member of the Italian-American Cultural Society, a 3rd and 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, a member of Annunciation Catholic Church serving on the Finance Committee and usher society and a member of the Annunciation School Board.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Josephine Sansone Montalbano; his brothers, Ignace Montalbano and Charles Lupo; and a sister Mary Francis Montalbano.

Visitation will be Monday, March 9, 2015, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., with a Rosary at 6 p.m., and will continue Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at Annunciation Catholic Church from 9 a.m. until the Mass at 11 a.m. The Rev. Father Daniel Brouillete will officiate, and entombment will follow at Sanctuary of Peace Mausoleum.
