Michael Robert Holden, age 72 and a resident of Bogalusa, was born on June 12, 1942, in Bogalusa and, died on Monday, Sept. 22, 2014, at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn J. Holden; one daughter, Michelle Holden (Todd W.) Jenkins; and two grandchildren, Tristan Michael Jenkins and Helaina Michelle Jenkins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard N. Holden and Ethel Lee Mulford Holden; and two brothers, Gilbert Holden and Richard Holden.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. The funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
