Karen A. Farmer, 51, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at Rest Haven Living Center in Bogalusa.

She was born Oct. 24, 1961 and was a resident of Bogalusa.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Ethel and Alan Wilson of Bogalusa; her father,

Dudley (Kathy) Hartzog of Balch Springs, Texas; a sister, Sharon Kizer of Fort Worth, Texas; and a brother, Russell A. Hartzog of Bogalusa.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home, with the funeral service following at 2 p.m. The Rev. Pete Bennett will officiate.

Interment will follow in Adams Cemetery in Isabel.
