The Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church family will honor and celebrate their pastor, Dr. Raymond E. Mims Sr., and his wife, Shirley H. Mims, for their 35 years of service.

The anniversary program will begin at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, at the church, which is located at 1104 Poplas St. in Bogalusa.

The Rev. Bobby Showers Jr., pastor of community Missionary Baptist Church in Fluker, will be the guest speaker, with the theme “A Pastor with a Passion for God’s People,” Jeremiah 3:15.

The 2013 Pastor Anniversary Committee invites the public to attend.
