The House of Prayer and Life Full Gospel Pentecostal Church celebrated Pastor Kathryn Hart’s 31st year as a leader and shepherd of the church. She was honored on Thursday and Friday, June 20-21 at 7:30 p.m. Dr. J. Wesley Jones of Terry, Miss., led the services.

Then on Sunday, June 23, Apostle Lalan Phillips from Houston was the speaker, along with The House of Prayer and Life Church and New Temple of Praise Church of Houston.

Hart also received a letter of commendation from United States Senator Mary Landreui and a resolution from the State of Louisiana.

At 85 years old, Hart is continuing to work for the Lord with faithfulness, dedication and perseverance, and she has been an inspiration to Washington Parish residents as well as many friends and family across the nation.

Her church family wants her to know that she has done an exceptional job in serving the Lord and leading God’s people.
