Paul and Shelia Burton of Varnado are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Candice Mechelle Burton, to Lennell Magee, the son of Bernard and Janell Magee of Franklinton.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Robert Earl and Annie Robinson of Varnado and the late Oscar and Bernice Burton.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Ollie D. Magee of Franklinton and the late Marshall Magee, as well as the late Artis and Juanita Tate.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, June 22 in a 4 p.m. ceremony at Mary’s Chapel United Methodist Church. A reception will follow immediately at Varnado High School cafeteria.

The couple invites family and friends to attend and help celebrate this special day.
