HOUNSHELL

Louise Hall Hounshell, 83, died at 2:40 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2013, at her home in Franklinton.

Born March 7, 1930, she was a native of Wythe County, Va. and a member of the Franklinton Waverly Club. She was a longtime member of Centenary United Methodist Church, where she was an active member of the Green Leaves Sunday school class.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Emily Hounshell of Salisbury, N.C. and Bill and Kathy Hounshell of Baton Rouge; a daughter-in-law,

Gail Hounshell of Salisbury; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Keener Hall Jr. of Kansas City, Mo.; and two sisters-in-law.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas W. “Dal” Hounshell; a son, Mitch Hounshell; her parents, Keener Hall Sr. and Willie Mae Hall; a granddaughter, Jeannie Hounshell; and three sisters.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 21 at Centenary United Methodist Church in Franklinton from 10-11 a.m., when a memorial service will be held in the church with the Rev. Steve Bush officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Centenary United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
