Richard and Jessie Mae Davis of Varnado are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Jessica Lynnette Davis, to Larry Douglas Thompson II, the son of Larry and Taryn Thompson of Bogalusa.

The bride-elect, is the granddaughter of George and Jessie Merle Jones of Varnado and the late Elbert and Mildred Davis of Crossroads, Miss.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Jane LeBlanc and the late Allen LeBlanc II and the late Curtis and Emma Laura Thompson, all of Bogalusa.

The couple will exchange vows in a 5 p.m. ceremony at the Bogalusa Event Center on Saturday, April 27, with a reception following immediately at Bogalusa Grill.

Family and friends are invited to attend and join the couple for this special day.
